BabyWaves helps families log feeds, sleep, nappies, notes, and optional photos. This policy describes how information is handled when you use our website and related services.

What we collect

• Account data: family display name (surname label), email address, and password (stored using standard password hashing).
• Baby profile & care logs: names, dates, measurements, feeding/sleep/nappy entries, notes, and optional files or images you attach.
• Technical data: browser/device type, approximate timestamps, IP addresses or device identifiers where our software records sign-ins or “Devices” analytics for security and abuse prevention.
• Billing (if used): subscription or payment-related identifiers processed by third-party providers (e.g. Stripe or app stores) according to their policies.

Why we use this information

• To provide syncing, reminders, exports, and sharing features you enable.
• To secure accounts, detect misuse, and maintain service reliability.
• To comply with law where required.

Legal bases (where applicable)
